In 2004, Radio Shack Corporation reopened electrical stores in the parts of Canada after trailing earlier subsidiary InterTAN to obtain by Circuit City. Radio Shack headquarters are situated in Fort Worth, Texas.

Radio Shack broadcasted the turnover of its newly constructed riverfront Ft. Worth head office structure to KanAm Grund. For 20 years, Radio Shack will be continued for leasing the property. In the beginning of 2006, Radio Shack Company has announced that they were closing the doors of about 480 under performing stores in all the areas of nation.
